An intermediary for e-invoices
Finago Modular Link can receive purchase invoices and send sales invoices electronically. An e-invoice, or e-invoice, is accompanied by an image of the invoice.
Electronic purchase invoices
The operator converts all incoming invoice data into Finvoice XML format and includes the PDF image sent by the invoicing party and any attachments. Invoices received in LINK are transferred with attachments to the purchase invoice approval system.
Electronic sales invoices
Sales invoices sent via Finago Modular Link may also contain PDF attachments. Please note that banks (as the recipient's operator) do not deliver the attachments that come with the invoice to the recipient. If the recipient does not have the possibility to receive electronic invoices, the sales invoices and attachments are sent in paper format to the recipient.
In cooperation with Purchase Invoices
Finago Modular Link transmits the payment data of the purchase account to the banks and the payment feedback from the banks back. The daily, machine-readable bank statements are also retrieved from the banks for the purchase ledger. This function updates the balance data and automatically offsets the payments.
In cooperation with Sales Invoices
Finago Modular Link sends sales invoices and payment requests made with Finago Modular Myyntilaskut (Sales Invoices) to Opentext (formerly Liaison) and automatically archives the sent sales invoices in the electronic archive. Payment requests are not archived after transmission, but only appear in the sales ledger.
In cooperation with Finago Modular Bank and banking functionalities
Finago Modular Link transmits the payroll data to the banks and collects payment feedback from the banks, which allows the payroll instalments to be set off as paid.
In cooperation with external systems
Finago Modular Link can also be used to retrieve material from external systems, such as bank statements and sales invoices.
- Statements retrieved from external systems can be stored in Finago Modular systems.
- Similarly, bank statements received by Finago Modular Link from banks can be stored for other systems.
- Sales invoices issued in other systems can be sent via Finago Modular Link to the recipients, which also provides an electronic archive copy for the Finago Modular Archive.
