General Information about Bank Statements in Purchase Invoices
For every company using the purchase ledger for Purchase Invoices, a payment transaction agreement is opened with each bank used. The payment transaction agreement must define a daily, machine-readable bank statement. You can read more detailed information about bank agreements here.
Payment batch invoices are always sent to the bank in a compiled form. When the bank statement arrives, the payment batch invoices are automatically marked as completed. Bank statements are stored in Purchase Invoices, and they can also be archived in the Archive.
- Go to Purchase Ledger – Bank Statements view
- Open the bank statement for review by clicking the blue link (account number)
The bank statement will open in a new tab, and it can be closed after review by clicking the checkmark on the Bank Statement tab.
Printing the Bank Statement
The bank statement can be printed by clicking the Print button (the bank statement will open in a separate window).
Archiving the Bank Statement
- Go to Purchase Ledger – Bank Statements view
- Select the bank statement to be archived by clicking the checkbox in front of the bank statement row
