In the Units section, you can create units for products (e.g., pcs, kg) that will be available for selection for new products and invoice rows. If translations for units are necessary, first define the default language and other languages in the general settings (Settings - General Settings - Invoice tab). Currently, language options include Finnish, Swedish, and English.
Creating units one by one
- Select Registers - Units
- Click on the New unit button (+) on the left upper corner
- Fill in the details of the unit
- Finally, click on the Save button to save the data
Description - Add a description for the unit. The description is not shown on the invoice image.
UN/ECE unit - Unit code according to the UN/ECE standard. For more information on UN/ECE codes, please visit the following websites here and here. The most common units are shown below.
Finnish and other selected languages - Add to field the commonly used unit designation which will be shown on the PDF image of the invoice and in the XML file.
Editing units
- Click on Registers - Units
- Double-click on the row of the unit to open the unit to be edited
- The selected unit will open in edit mode. Fields in grey are not editable.
- Save the changes made by clicking on the Save button.
Deactivating units
A unit can be deactivated by selecting the desired unit and pressing the Deactivate button.
If the user wants to see or use the unit again, this can be done by selecting the filter and selecting the Deactivated, then selecting the deactivated unit and reactivating it by using the Activate button.
Exporting units to Excel
Units can be downloaded to your workstation in csv or xlsx format.
- If necessary, use the column filters to limit the counters you want to see. Please note that all columns in the view will appear in the file, so please make the necessary selections in the column selections.
- Right-click to open a drop-down menu, from which you can select Export - CSV Export or Excel Export.
- The file will be transferred to the Downloads folder of your browser and computer, where you can open it.
