On the Company tab, you define the company's basic information, billing contact details, and add the logo to be displayed on sales invoices.
Country
To set up the company, start by selecting the country of the company, as this will affect field validations and data content requirements. The fields in the Company details section change according to the requirements of each country, and the information in the fields is added to both the invoice image and the XML file.
Country - Select the country of the company from the drop-down menu. At the moment there are the following countries available: FI - Finland, SE - Sweden, NL - Netherlands and CH - Switzerland.
Company details
The Company details section is used to specify the company name, the Business ID and the VAT ID. It is possible to create a Finnish business customer in the program that is not subject to VAT and does not have a VAT number. It is also possible to create a Finnish business customer with only a VAT number filled in (and the business ID blank). It is preferably recommended to fill in both the Business ID and the VAT number whenever the company is liable for value-added tax.
Company name and Business ID - Add information in the fields.
VAT number - Enter the VAT number of the company in the field. This field can only be left blank if the company is not subject to VAT.
If the Country selection is other than Finland, country-specific fields that need to be filled out will appear.
Address
The next step is to enter the address details of the company.
The Street Address, Postal code and Post Office fields are mandatory.
The country will be pre-filled through the Country option already defined above.
The Www-pages field is optional.
Billing contact details
You can specify billing contact information, where customers are encouraged to reach out for billing-related inquiries.
The Telephone and Email fields are mandatory. Please fill the information.
Completion of the Fax field is optional.
Company currencies
The Company currencies section is used to specify the default currency used and other currencies used for invoicing.
The default currency is a mandatory entry that cannot be changed after the settings have been saved for the first time. The default currency of the company is the currency in which the accounting is done. The currency specified in this field is used in the reporting section and in the totals calculations of the spreadsheets.
The Other currencies sub-menu allows you to select other currencies used by the company for invoicing. It is not possible to remove currencies from the list after saving, but it is possible to add new currencies.
Logo
The logo displayed on the invoice image can be added in the Logo section. The logo must be scaled to the correct size before it is added, so that it is visible from the envelope of the invoice to be printed and does not appear under the production marks of the printing partner. The logo can be a maximum of 300 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. The logo must be in .jpeg format.
The logo should be added from a folder on your computer, e.g. via the desktop (+) button.
