The General settings section below the settings allows you to do the following:

- Setting up a company.
- Setting and/or editing the company's general settings.
Setting up a company
Before filling in the company's General settings, it is recommended to configure the following sections:

Registers / Accounts
All default accounts of the company can be set at the same time in the settings

Registers / Counters
All company counters can be set at the same time in the settings.
The counter data is mandatory, so without it, the set-up cannot be done. However, it is also possible for the user to create a counter directly via the drop-down menu of each counter.
Please check that the following information is easily accessible, as it is mandatory:
- Basic company information (Business ID, VAT number, Address, etc.)
- Company e-invoice address
We recommend that you specify optional information as broadly as possible so that it can be used as default information on sales invoices.
Note: The mandatory data for the general settings on the various tabs must be specified all at once to allow saving. Exiting the general settings in the middle of a process without saving the data means that the configuration must be started from the beginning. It is always possible to correct data defined the first time afterwards and optional data can also be added later.
The program will notify you if changes have been made to the General settings, but these changes have not yet been saved. Please always remember to save the changes you have made.
