Exporting accounts to Excel
All the accounting accounts used for sales invoices must be set up in the Accounts view. This section explains how to create an accounting account, how to edit an account and how to delete it if necessary.
Creating accounts one by one
- Go to Registers - Accounts view
- Click on the New account button (+) in the top left corner
- Fill in the details in the window that appears. The information marked with an asterisk (*) is mandatory.
- Finally, click the Save button to save the information.
To the Account Number and Account Name fields, enter the account number and name of the accounting account to be created.
VAT rate - Select from the drop-down menu of the field. Note! It is advisable to set up the VAT rates first in the Registers - VAT rates view, but you can also add it when creating the account.
Editing an account
- Go to Registers - Accounts view
- Select the account whose details you want to edit by double-clicking on the relevant account row
- The selected account will open in the editing mode. You can edit the account name or the VAT rate.
- Finally, save your changes by clicking on the Save button.
Deactivating an account
An account can be deactivated by selecting the desired account and pressing the Deactivate button.
If the user wants to see or use the account again, this can be done by selecting the filter and selecting the deactivated accounts, then selecting the deactivated account and reactivating it using the Activate button.
Exporting accounts to Excel
Accounts can be downloaded to your workstation in csv or xlsx format.
- If necessary, use the column filters to limit the accounts you want to see. Please note that all columns in the view will appear in the file, so please make the necessary selections in the column selections.
- Right-click to open a drop-down menu, from which you can select Export - CSV Export or Excel Export.
- The file will be moved to the Downloads folder of your browser and computer, where you can open it.
