Creating a new financial statement
The program comes with a ready-made financial statement template that can be used as a basis for the company's financial statement. If a financial statement has already been prepared for the company in Heeros accounting, previous financial statements of the company can also be used as a basis. The creation of financial statements is done in the view Reports – Accounting – Financial Statements.
If no own financial statements have been created for the company in Heeros accounting yet, only the sample financial statement will be visible. Start creating the financial statement by clicking the New button.
After that, a new financial statement selection window will open:
Select Copy financial statement from existing template and choose a financial statement template, for example, YEAR-END MODEL 2020. By clicking Ok, the program will create a financial statement based on the model for the specified company named YEAR-END MODEL 2020. You can rename the financial statement by selecting the corresponding financial statement, checking it, and clicking Edit.
Creating a financial statement for the company based on the previous year's financial statement

The financial statement can be renamed by selecting the specific financial statement, checking it, and clicking Edit.
Copying the financial statement as a template
The financial statement document created for a company can now be copied as a template financial statement, making it available for use by other companies.
A template is created from the financial statement by first selecting the financial statement from which you want to make a copy. At this stage, it is important to pay attention to the name of the financial statement and to name it clearly.
After this, select the button Copy as a template for the financial statement. The program will confirm the desired action. The copying is approved by the Ok button.
After this, the specified financial statement will be available in the same Menu's companies as a template, from which a copy can be taken when creating a new financial statement.
