Editing the payment batch
The payment batch can no longer be edited in Finago Modular Bank, and any edits must always be made in the software where the original payment file was created. If changes are still needed for the data imported into Finago Modular Bank, please proceed as follows:
- Delete payment batch (not yet paid) Delete button
- Make corrections to the payment batch in the program where the payment batch was created.
- Import the corrected payment batch back to Finago Modular Bank for payment processing.
Deleting the payment batch
The payment batch imported into Finago Modular Bank that has not yet been paid (Pay-button) can be removed using the Delete button in the Payment material import view (bottom right). After this, the user can import a new payment batch for payment or exit Finago Modular Bank.
NOTE! If the payment batch has already been sent to the payer's bank using the Pay button, the payment batch must be canceled directly with that bank.
Marking payment batch as completed
Payments made through Finago Modular Bank are automatically confirmed as completed based on the feedback provided by the paying bank (PAID), and no manual actions are required.
You can track the progress of the payment batch in both Finago Modular Bank (Payment Batches view) and Finago Modular Link.
Cancelling the payment batch from the bank
If the payment batch has already been paid through Finago Modular Bank, it can no longer be stopped by Heeros, as it is transmitted directly to the bank's system. In cases of payment material cancellation, you should contact the relevant bank as soon as possible.
Resending payment batch
If the payment batch encounters an error for any reason, an error message will appear in the Finago Modular Bank's payment batch list (Error).
The same information is also visible in the Finago Modular Link Banking Channels – Payment Batches view (Error).
Proceed as follows:
- Investigate the reason why the data ended up in an error (e.g., insufficient coverage or errors were found during the formal content check)
- Make any necessary changes to the data in the program where the payment data was originally created.
- Import the new data into Finago Modular Bank (double-check that the imported row details, such as the due date, are correct)
- If no changes are made to the data itself (insufficient coverage situation), the program will ask for confirmation to replace the previously imported data (Accept).
- Send the payment data for processing using the Pay button.
Payment processing timelines
The payment data processed with Finago Modular Bank is always transmitted directly to the payer's bank. The first feedback related to the payment batch arrives from the bank within an hour of sending the payment.
You can track the stages of the payment batch directly in the Finago Modular Bank in the Payment Batches view, and the stages and feedback from the banks are also displayed in Finago Modular Link.
