Ledger reports are only available in the Sales Ledger section of Sales Invoices. The amounts displayed in the reports are inclusive of tax.
Creating Ledger Report
- Click on Reports - Accounts Receivable Reports
- Specify the information for the report
- Once specifications are made, create the report by clicking the Create Report button
- The finished report will open in its own window. Note! Pop-ups from Hero's pages need to be allowed.
The completed report can be printed in the Report window using the browser's print function. Note! You can print the report in color if the Print background (colors and images) option is selected in the Page settings of the browser.
Open Report / Due invoices
Basic Information Tab
When the report type is Due invoices, the report displays invoices that have not yet been paid. The Total for open invoices is the sum of the Unpaid column.
The report includes open invoices that are a maximum of six years old (based on the document date). If there are older open invoices, they should be reconciled using other means.
In the As of Date field, define which open invoices will appear on the report. Select from the calendar the date on which open invoices are to be reviewed (not necessarily the current date). The report prints open invoices as of the specified date; invoices with a document date before the specified date that have not been fully paid by the specified date. Invoices are sorted first by the chosen division and then by the document date.
In the Division field, specify the order in which invoices are displayed on the report. Click on the selection that displays the desired information first on the report; Customer Name, Customer Short Name, Customer ID, or display information on the report by customer group.
- No division; selection brings invoices to the Open Invoices report in document number order, with the lowest document number at the top. The report also includes a Customer field, indicating the recipient of the invoice.
The Show Payments option defines whether partial payments towards the invoice are also displayed on the report (Yes/No).
The Return Value defines where the report is displayed.
- Show Report - selection displays the report on the workstation screen
- Download CSV File - selection allows the report to be opened in Excel.

Invoices to be included in the report can be filtered by customer group or individual customers.

Invoice diary
Basic Information Tab
Type - Invoice diary
When the report type is Invoice diary, the report displays invoices for the selected period in document or invoice date order. A summary of sales accounts, VAT, and cost centers is displayed at the end of the report.
In the Period fields, specify the desired period for which invoices are selected for the report. Select from the calendar the start and end dates of the period to be included in the report.
In the Date field, specify whether invoices are selected for the report based on the document date or invoice date.
The Return Value defines where the report is displayed.

- Download CSV File - selection allows the report to be opened in Excel.

Payment diary
Basic Information Tab
Type - Payment diary
Payments for the selected period are displayed by account or by day on the report when the type is selected as Payment diary. A summary of accounts is displayed at the end of the report.
In the Period fields, specify the desired period for which payments are selected for the report. Select from the calendar the start and end dates of the period to be included in the report.
In the Division field, specify the order in which payments are displayed on the report.
- By Account - selection brings payments to the report in account order
- By Day - selection brings payments to the report in date order
The Return Value defines where the report is displayed.
- Show Report - selection displays the report on the workstation screen
- Download CSV File - selection allows the report to be opened in Excel.

NOTE! Credit invoices on the Payment Journal report always appear as negative.
Receivables prognosis
Basic Information Tab
Type - Receivables prognosis
The report displays a forecast of incoming payments when the type is selected as Receivables prognosis.
Return Value defines where the report is displayed.

Customer Tab Filters
With the filters made on the Customers tab, invoices to be included in the report can be filtered according to the desired selection. The filter may concern Customer Groups or Customers.
Filter in use: Customer Group
By selecting Customer Group, you can select one or more customer groups for the filter.
- Click on the checkbox Scoping in use: Customer Group
- Click on the name of the customer group to be used in the filter Customer Groups listing - the customer group displayed on a blue background is selected
- After selecting the customer groups to be included in the filter, click the arrow to the right, and the names of the selected customer groups will move to the Selected customer groups window.
Filter in use: Customers
By selecting Customers, you can select one or more customers for the filter.
- Click on the checkbox Scoping in use: Customers
- Click on the name of the customer to be used in the filter Customers listing - the customer displayed on a blue background is selected
- After selecting the customers to be included in the filter, click the arrow to the right, and the names of the selected customers will move to the Selected customers window.
Selecting Multiple Customers/Customer Groups Scattered Throughout the List
Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and click the names of the customers/customer groups to be included in the filter. The customer/customer group displayed on a blue background is always selected for the filter.
Selecting Multiple Consecutive Customers/Customer Groups from the List
Click the name of the first customer/customer group, and then hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard, and click the name of the last customer/customer group, and all customers/customer groups in between will be selected.
Canceling Customer/Customer Group Selection
If necessary, you can change the filter by removing already selected customers/customer groups from the Selected customers/customer groups window.
- Click the name of the customer/customer group to be removed from the filter in the Selected customers/customer groups window (the row of the customer/customer group turns blue)
- Click the left arrow, and the names of the selected customers/customer groups will move back to the Customers/Customer Groups window, and the selection is canceled.
After selecting Create Report, a ready-made report according to the given specifications will open on the screen. Note! If necessary, you can click on the invoice number to go to the invoice.
Changing the Filter
If you define a filter for the report, for example, according to Customer Group, but intend to make the filter according to Customers selection, you can change the filter as follows.
- Click again on the currently selected filter (e.g., Filter in use: Customer Group) - the currently selected filter is released, and the checkmark disappears from the selection box
- Then click on the filter to be used (e.g., Filter in use: Customers) - the new filter is available, and a checkmark appears in the selection box - The filter selection has been changed.
Printing the Report in Color
In the browser page settings, you can specify whether to print the report in color or not. For color printing, the page settings must have the selection Print background (colors and images).
