Date and time of reference data import
The example reference data was imported into Sales Invoices on 23.09.2015 at 15:18
File name / Report created by / Printed / Database
The basic information of the report shows the imported file name (File name) and the name of the handler who imported the file into Sales Invoices (Report created by). In addition, the date and time when the file was imported into Sales Invoices (Printed) and the name of the Sales Invoices to which the report was generated (Database) are displayed. In printouts, the database name clarifies whose reference data it was.
Bank account information on the report
When importing reference data, the bank account numbers in Sales Invoices are checked, and only the reference data of the account numbers listed there is imported. If there are payments to a bank account that is not listed in Sales Invoices, the payments to that bank account are skipped.
Number of skipped bank accounts
Only the number of skipped bank accounts is reported, not the account numbers.
Bank account
The imported bank account is described as follows
- Bank account; the account number to which the payment is imported
- Writing date; the date when the bank created the imported reference data
- Writing time; the time when the bank created the imported reference data
- Total amount of payments; the total amount of payments allocated to the bank account.
Errors
If a payment to a bank account fails, a list of failed payments appears immediately below the bank account. Failed imports are indicated by a red traffic sign.
The error message shows
- Payment date, i.e., the date when the money was received in the account
- Payment, i.e., the amount paid
- Reference number, i.e., the reference number of the failed payment
- Additional information, i.e., the information about why the payment failed.
Examples of failed payments can include
- Unidentified reference number
- Adjustment entries made by the bank (bank correction entry; debited, not credited)
- Overpayments (overpayments are not allowed).
Failed payments are visible in the Sales Ledger - Payments - In Progress view. By opening a payment, you can edit the information and allocate the payment to an invoice.
Successful payments
The successfully imported payments are shown in the Successful section.
- Number; invoice number
- Date; invoice date
- Payer: payer's name
- Payment date; the date when the invoice was paid
- Amount; invoice amount
- Payment; payment amount
- Reference number; Additional information; information about the payment.
Additional information about successful payments can include information about the payer and the invoice number.
After the bank account-specific information, the corresponding information for the next bank account is displayed on the report.
