Documents can be searched either from the directory tree in the left frame or using the search function. The search function can be found in the Search menu or by clicking the Search documents button.
One or more search criteria can be provided in a single search.
The Free text search field can be used to enter the desired keyword or part of a word. Free text search retrieves results from the document and its attachments (text-based, e.g. pdf).
The search is initiated by clicking the Search button or pressing Enter on the keyboard.
The search results displayed at the bottom of the screen show how many documents were found. The search results show the document and its attachments.
The document name is a link to the document details. The paperclip icon allows access to the document's attachments.
The search results can be printed (Print button).
The search results can be exported to Excel by selecting the entire search result, copying the selection with the Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut, and pasting the search result in Excel with the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut.
The search criteria can be modified by clicking the Edit button.
The search results can be closed with the Close button.
