Deleting a Bank Account
Bank accounts are created by adding each bank account individually. Bank accounts that need to be added to sales invoices should be added in the settings before creating customers. Note! The invoice image can accommodate four account numbers.
Adding a Bank Account
- Select Settings – Bank Accounts
- Click the Create New Bank Account button
- Complete the information in the pop-up window
- Save the information using the Save as New button.
The Account Owner's Name is automatically entered in that field.
The Copy to All Customers option automatically adds the bank account information created for all customers to the invoice by default.
The IBAN number is entered in the IBAN field. Required information!
The bank identifier code, or BIC (swift), is required information for the Finvoice message and is automatically completed for Finnish bank accounts. For example, OKOYFIHH, NDEAFIHH, DABAFIHH, etc. The BIC code is not automatically completed for foreign bank accounts and must be entered manually.
Enter the bank name in the Bank field or select it from the drop-down menu. Required information!
The BBAN field is used for entering the national, i.e., Finnish, account number. This information is not mandatory and the field can be left blank.
Enter the Accounting Account number or select it from the drop-down menu. Accounting accounts must be created first in the Settings – Accounts section.
Modifying a Bank Account
- Click Settings - Bank Accounts
- Select the bank account you want to modify by double-clicking the row of the bank account -> the selected row will turn blue.
- The bank account details will open in the lower part of the window, in edit mode
- Edit and save the changes using the Save Changes button.
Deleting a Bank Account
- Click Settings - Bank Accounts
- Select the bank account to be deleted by clicking the row of the bank account once -> the selected row will turn blue
- Click the Delete Selected button -> the selected bank account will be deleted.
Note! You can select multiple bank accounts to be deleted using the Shift or Ctrl keys.
