Important considerations before deletion:
- The cost unit / accounting object cannot be deleted until it has been confirmed that it is not in use other than on archived invoices.
- The cost unit / accounting object remains only on archived invoices, and it can be retrieved from the archive using the cost unit search.
- Deleting the cost unit / accounting object will affect reporting, so we do not recommend deleting the cost unit until you have taken any necessary reports.
- Deleted cost unit / accounting object cannot be restored.
- An alternative to deletion is to add the text Do not use to the name of old cost units. Before changing the name, ensure that all relevant invoices have been processed, i.e., archived, transferred to accounting, and all necessary reports have been taken.
Select the desired cost unit or accounting object by checking it from the register - cost units / accounting objects view and press delete.
