Views Accounts Receivable - Invoices, Accounts Receivable - Payments, Products, Customers, Reports and all Registers (VAT rates, Payment terms, Accounting objects, Bank accounts, Accounts, Counters and Units) have been implemented with a new spreadsheet component, which will also be introduced in other views with future version updates.
The footer of the page shows the number of selected rows and the total sum. The row count and total calculations are automatically updated when different filters are applied. When exporting data, the totals are also exported to Excel/CSV.
Columns and filters
On the right side of the table you will find Columns and Filters, which allow you to do the following:
- Display the selection of visible columns (the selection is only valid for the session in which the user is viewing a particular list view).
- It is possible to group data by a specific column. By dragging columns into the grouping section, the data is organized in a way that allows the user to see, for example, all invoices by customer. Columns can be dragged into the grouping from the column headers at the top of the table or from the column drop-down list.
- The same filters found above the columns are available in the Filters section.
Copying rows and cells
It is possible to copy data from the spreadsheet view as follows:
- Use the column filters to limit the documents to be copied to the view
- Hold down the left mouse button and select the desired cells
- Right-click to open a drop-down menu where you can select either Copy or Copy With Headers
- The Copy option copies the row data, Copy With Headers copies not only the row data but also the column headers.
- Paste the copied lines into a file of your choice.
Exporting to Excel or CSV file
It is possible to export transactions from the limited view to an Excel or CSV file.
- Use the column filters to restrict the display of vouchers. Please note that all columns in the view will appear in the file, so please make the necessary selections in the column selections.
- Right-click to open a drop-down menu where you can select Export - CSV Export or Excel Export.
- The file can be opened via browser downloads.
Chart functionality
The chart functionality can be found in the table component. This allows you to create different types of charts in a similar way to Excel. Note that if you select multiple rows from the same entity (e.g. Customer), the data must be grouped before generating the charts.
- Pivot Mode has been added to the table component.
Row actions
When selecting an invoice, the row actions Create Payment and Create Credit Note become available. These actions are now accessible as the first options in the Open Invoices view in the Accounting Receivables section.
