If the supplier is able to provide the invoice posting details in Finvoice format, the invoices will be ready for accounting in the Purchase Invoices - workflow and accounts payable. The invoice in Finvoice format must include at least the account number (<RowNormalProposedAccountIdentifier>). The accounting lines are compiled with account number precision.
The accounts must be present in Purchase Invoices - workflow and accounts payable and must have VAT codes selected. VAT codes must be in use in the Purchase Invoices. If VAT percentages are in use, this will not work.
You can check whether the company has VAT codes or VAT percentages in use by going to Settings - General - Posting.
In Finvoice format, cost centers (<RowAccountDimensionText>) can also be imported, in which case the consolidation is done with account/cost center precision.
Settings in Heeros Link
- Select wanted setting from "Create posting lines from Finvoice"
- The account number is retrieved from the xml and the VAT code from the account information from the Purchase invoices account chart
- Combines the lines of the invoice, as long as the accounts from the xml can be found in the chart of accounts and its information has a VAT code. If the account number is not found on the purchase invoices, the account is ignored
- If the rows have a cost center, the program will compile according to the cost center
Settings in Purchase Invoices - workflow and accounts payable (if the choice "Use Purchase Invoice settings and create summary rows" is selected during invoice import)
In the Purchase Invoices Settings - General - Interfaces - invoice import tab, select the option "Create posting lines from Finvoice/TEAPPS".
If the invoice is not fully accounted for in the Finvoice format:
- The invoice remains partially accounted for or
- The unaccounted part of the invoice is posted to the supplier's first default account if the option "Create default accounting entries after invoice import" is activated in Heeros Link and a default account is provided in the supplier's details.
Note! The setting is only for e-invoices arriving from Link to the Purchase Invoices - workflow and accounts payable solution.
