1. Check in the Specifications - TITO section that the TITO rule has been created (as shown above), an accounting control has been created for it (as shown below), and the account used in the control is present in the chart of accounts.
2. Verify that the rule's Transaction Level matches the transaction level on the bank statement.
For example, reference transfers are only shown as top-level transactions on the bank statement. To account for the top-level transaction based on the TITO rule, the transaction level in the TITO rule should be either Highest (the program accounts for only the top-level or total amount) or All (the program accounts for sub-transactions, if any, and if not, accounts for the total amount).
3. Check the Settings - General - Accounting Settings tab to ensure that Common Bank Statement Rules is not selected for a customer who does not have TITO configurations. It is recommended to use your own TITO rules (No Chart of Accounts option).
4. Verify that a fiscal year with its periods has been set up for the time range of the bank statement to be accounted for.
