If the user cannot log in to the program with their own credentials or the password has been forgotten, the user must change the password.
Resetting forgotten password or changing password
If you have forgotten your Heeros user password or want to change your password else, you can order a password reset email with Forgot your password? functionality. Prerequisite of the functionality is that your user account has an email defined. Click the link to order the password resetting.
Input your Heeros user name to the opened field. Heeros user name commonly is in for Firstname Surname. Your Heeros user name must be written exactly as written in the login.
Observe that password reset is not successful with email address. Thus, make sure that you are attempting the reset with Heeros user name.
An email will be sent to the email defined in your user account, including a link to resetting the password. For password reset you need the 6-digit safety code.
Fill in the received safety code and the new password. Confirm the new password. Please consider the format of a secure password. Confirm password reset with Update password selection.
Your password has been changed and is in use in Heeros applications and in Mobile.
Problems? If you do not receive the password reset email, contact your main user to control your account information and to add the possibly missing email address. Your password can also be manually reset by your main user.
Changing password in My account tab
All Heeros users can change password in My account tab. Password fields are shown as empty.
- Log in to Heeros Heeros applications and select My account in the main top bar.
- Fill in the Password and Confirm password with your new password. Please consider the format of a secure password.
- Save changes by clicking Save. Changes enter into force in approximately 10-15 minutes.
Your password has been changed and is in use in Heeros applications and in Mobile.
Note! The saved settings are instantly saved to the database. The new form anyhow has a lag in showing the updated settings in case the form is refreshed straight after the saved changes. This may feel confusing but the saved changes have been successful despite of this lag on the form.
